The 76-year-old woman went to the hospital, complaining of weight loss and diarrhea. She told doctors that 25 years ago, she was using the pen to inspect her tonsils, when she slipped, fell and accidentally swallowed the pen.
After taking the pen out, the tip was still intact, and it was able to write.
