Bulldogs snap four-game losing streak

TEMPE, Ariz.

Kevin Olekaibe hit a 3-pointer with 29.9 seconds remaining to help Fresno State to a 68-65 win on Wednesday over Arizona State, snapping the Bulldogs' four-game losing streak.

Keala King, who led the Sun Devils with 22 points and six rebounds, missed a layup with 12 seconds left, and Fresno State's Jonathan Willis hit one of two free throws for the final margin. Arizona State's Kyle Cain missed a shot from the top of the key in the final seconds.

Cain's three-point play with 38 seconds left gave Arizona State a 65-64 lead.

Olekaibe scored 21 of his 30 points in the second half to help rally Fresno State (5-8) from a 17-point first-half deficit.

Arizona State (4-8) has had four straight games decided by shots in the final seconds, losing the last three.
