The woman was captured on video Wednesday, inside the enclosure.
A couple fences, a ditch, a pool and bushes, apparently weren't enough to stop the woman, whose name has not been released. Witnesses say she was inside the cage, petting the animals for about five minutes.
A zoo spokesperson says it was an isolated incident of extraordinary circumstances, and there are no plans to alter the exhibit because of the actions of one person.
The woman apparently suffers from a mental illness.
