Laura Dekker, 16, is on the final leg of her trip -- a long stint from Cape Town, South Africa to the Caribbean island of St. Marteen. That's where she first set sail in 2010.
Weather permitting, sailing experts say Dekker is on pace to reach her final destination around January 24th.
The young woman says the voyage has been a dream come true. She began it all when she was 14-years old.
Dekker is now on day 508 of her voyage.
