Police: Officers shoot suspect after double homicide in Clovis
Three people are dead, including one who was shot by Clovis Police. The shooting happened before 1 a.m. this morning on 8th Street near Bullard and Minnewawa. Clovis Police tell Action News, two people were found dead and a third person, the suspect, was shot and killed by police.
Deputy killed while serving eviction notice in Modesto
A man suspected of shooting and killing a sheriff's deputy in the North Valley is presumed dead. A fire broke out last night at a Modesto four-plex where the man barricaded himself for 12 hours. The suspect shot and killed a Sheriff's Deputy and a civilian yesterday, then barricaded himself in an apartment complex.

A similar story in New Hampshire where a man suspected of shooting multiple police officers has been found dead in a home. Last night, officers were serving a search warrant when the armed man fired at them. A local police chief died, and four other officers were hurt. Police found the suspect inside the home with gunshot wounds.
