The information Action News has been given is preliminary, but cameras caught police carrying out the two children who police say thankfully weren't hurt physically.

Since this all happened so fast, police told reporters what they did once they arrived here at the scene.

"We have currently locked down the apartments around the victims apartment and we're going door to door canvassing the area attempting to determine what took place," Lt. Anthony Martinez of the Fresno Police Department said.

The shooting victims were taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Downtown Fresno for their injuries.

Detectives wouldn't say if this incident was gang-related.
