People stopped by five different locations throughout the Valley over the last two days to donate a pint of blood for a pint of Baskins Robbins ice cream.
Organizers were hoping to reach 25-thousand donations in honor of the 25th anniversary of the blood drive, and on Saturday they surpassed that goal with 25,519.
Earlier organizers were optimistic of reaching their goal.
"It's the second part of the two day kickoff and we're having a great two days. The first day we had 1105 folks come in. We're so happy. We're hoping to have about 1000 people come in today. We're about at the half way point and we're at 500 so we think we're gonna make it," Chris Sorensen of the Central California Blood Center said.
Even though blood drive wraps up Saturday night, you are still encouraged to donate.
