Officials say this case has resulted in a fatality. The park also said that there is a probable fourth case.
The park is now reaching out to visitors who stayed in the Signature Tent Cabins at Curry Village from mid-June through the end of August.
Two weeks ago Action News reported that two other people contracted the virus in the Curry Village area. Those two victims both camped near each other in the tent cabins at Curry Village back in mid-June. One patient died, the other has recovered.
The Health Department is urging anyone who camped in Curry Village this summer to be on the lookout for any symptoms of the hantavirus. Those symptoms include fever, headache, muscle ache and breathing difficulty.
