Investigators say they found the body of a woman at a house in the area of 9th and L Street.
Sanger police has been at the scene throughout Sunday.
They have been walking in and out of the home. Action News spoke to the victim's family a short while ago who says they're in disbelief.
Detectives spent the day looking for evidence in this house after discovering a victim in the home. Police say the got the call at about 9 a.m. Saturday alerting them to the violence.
"We are trying to look for more information from those who are out there," Sgt. Greg Velasquez of the Sanger Police Department said.
Family members and friends tell Action News the victim is 41-year-old Sandra Beyer. They say it was Beyer's daughter who called 9-1-1.
"I am feeling real sad, real hurt, just horrible I can't believe she is gone," Michael Garcia, the victim's cousin, said.
"She was just a great person very caring, always thought of others before herself," Elaine Franco, a friend of the victim, said.
Investigators are not releasing many details about the homicide family, but members are hoping whoever is responsible will be arrested.
"I want justice, I want the person who did this to pay," Franco said.
Police are urging anyone who may have seen anything to call.
