Officers went to the area of Santa Clara and F Street after getting a call about a gunshot victim just after 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
When they arrived, they found a man who was shot at least once in the leg.
Police say he's not cooperating with the investigation. They have detained another man they believe may be involved in the shooting.
Officers say a second person showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound.
They're now trying to determine if the two victims are connected.
