The tournament is a big deal for the City of Madera. Over 50 teams from throughout California and as far away as Hawaii will compete in the Bobby Sox National Tournament of Champions this weekend. And the girls are fired up!
The tournament also provides a big boost to the local economy.
The local Bobby Sox group is looking for some help to make the tournament a success. They are asking for donations of water and Gatorade, because the money is made at the stadium's concession stand goes to the league for travel and other expenses.
