They had a sub-.500 record this season, but caught someone at the CBI's attention and earned an invitation to the tournament. After wins over Stony Brook, Penn state and Illinois State would follow, Siena is now two wins away from a postseason championship.
All the fun starts Monday night, in game one of the best of three CBI championship series. Tipoff against the Saints is at 7:00 p.m. at the Save Mart Center. It will be the first ever matchup between the two schools. Game two will be Wednesday night, April 2nd, in Albany, New York.
