FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- CAL FIRE reported on Wednesday that the Briceburg fire is now at 5,563 acres and 100 percent contained.
Highway 140 is open and authorities are reminding drivers to be cautious. They say smoke might be visible within the fire's boundary for several weeks.
One structure has been destroyed.
The Mariposa County Sheriff's Office says all mandatory evacuations and fire advisements have been lifted.
It is still unclear what sparked the fire, which is burning near the area of last year's devastating Ferguson Fire.
