G'ma and Pappas host bicycle giveaway in Coarsegold

COARSEGOLD, Calif. (KFSN) -- Christmas came a little early for some kids in the Central Valley. G'ma and Pappas in Coarsegold held a bicycle giveaway Saturday.

A total of 50 kids received a new bike and got a chance to meet Santa Claus. Event organizer Mitch Regal-Hoos says some of the children were impacted by the Detwiler fire back in July -- which is why he and his partner Lauri Brown wanted to make sure their Christmas was extra special this year.

The bikes were donated by people all over the Valley -- $3,500 in toys were also given away.
