Study: Drinking a glass of wine makes you more attractive

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- It turns out you don't need your mate to have beer goggles on to look more attractive -- just some wine for yourself.

Scientists at the University of Bristol found drinking one large glass of wine increases facial flushing and confidence. Researchers say that's because alcohol mimics how the body naturally tries to attract a mate.

The study found people who drank a third of a bottle of wine, or about 8 ounces, were considered most appealing. But moderation is key. Those who had too much to drink were not considered attractive.
