TACOMA, WA (KFSN) -- A close call for a truck driver in Washington State. A log went straight through his windshield and he survived!
The state patrol says a logging truck came to an abrupt stop in a construction zone, causing a second logging truck to rear-end it.
The logs from the first truck came loose, going into the front of the second truck.
The driver of that second truck was taken to the hospital with broken ribs but is expected to be okay.
At one point, traffic was backed up for five miles after the crash.
