This is the day many people at the Big Fresno Fair have been waiting for. Race fans filled the grandstands for the first official day of horse racing.

All Big Fresno Fair Facebook fans and Twitter followers will get FREE admission just for being connected with them from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. on October 2 only. If you're a Facebook fan, check the Fair's Facebook page for a special link that will direct you to the barcode that will get you into the Fair for free! For Twitter followers, the link will be sent to you in a direct message. Click on the link to obtain your barcode and either print it out at home or show it on your mobile device at the gates between the hours of 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.! It's just that easy! Once on grounds, make sure to 'Check In' and 'Tag' the Fair, plus hashtag #BigFresnoFair in all your tweets, status updates and Fair photos!
