FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police made two arrests Saturday night as part of a gang suppression effort to keep violence down in Southwest Fresno.
Teams of officers have been working overtime this week to prevent retaliation after a series of shootings last Thursday.

Officers say they stopped 19-year-old Charles Muhammad and another 16-year-old after they ran a stop sign. Inside the car, police found a loaded revolver.
Police say both are known gang members.
