Police ask for help in finding hit and run suspect

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police hope cell phone video can help catch the suspect in a hit and run crash in Downtown.

The video was recorded near Central and Highway 99. Witnesses said a 21-year-old was leaving one of the buildings in the area, when someone in a Mercedes Benz hit him.

In the video, sparks fly from the bike, which was totalled in the crash and the driver sped off without checking on the victim.

The victim suffered a broken ankle, foot, and toe, but athorities say he is going to be okay.
