Visalia Christmas Tree Auction raises money for charity

VISALIA, California (KFSN) -- As the countdown to Christmas continues, the South Valley is gearing up for one of their most beloved charitable events.

The 36th annual Visalia Chamber of Commerce Christmas Tree Auction kicks off on Friday night. This year's theme is "White Christmas."

Each tree was sponsored by a local business and the proceeds will go toward more than 30 non-profits in the city. Volunteers are decorating 18 christmas trees to be auctioned off live tonight. Additionally, they will have silent auction items, including small Christmas trees.

As the countdown to Christmas continues, the South Valley is gearing up for one of their most beloved charitable events.
