Detectives investigating after body found in a Los Banos canal

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Merced County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a body was found in a Los Banos canal.

The Sheriff's Office says the body was located Wednesday in the Delta Mendota Canal in the area of Mercy Springs Road.

It says the Sheriff's Office Water Rescue and Recovery Team and Detectives are on scene.
