Merced College students participate in student senate in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Students at Merced College took part in the three-day Student Senate for California Community Colleges in Sacramento over the weekend.

The Merced College delegation considered 35 resolutions and advocated for the best interests of all community college students statewide.

The resolutions included "Increased access to resources on campuses" such as showers and laundry rooms, Amtrak discounts for students, mental health first aid training, and a Filipino American history month.
