FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Merced city school district students showed off their projects Thursday from this year's Summer Academy for Academic Achievement.
The voluntary four-week program started June 13th and ends Friday.
Each grade level had its own program to help teach steam subjects which are: science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics.
The students began with the basics and worked their way up to conducting experiments and building models.
Today's showcases happened at three different schools.
They were a chance to share their work with classmates and family members.
