EAGLE ROCK, LOS ANGELES -- A man riding his motorcycle crashed into a mountain after another man on a motorcycle driving in the wrong direction nearly hit him.
Sherwin Ramos was riding his motorcycle on the Los Angeles Crest Highway Sunday. He had a GoPro mounted to his helmet and the camera captured the terrifying footage.
Ramos injured his ankle, knee and back in the crash.
"It felt like a bad body slam," he said. "I just instantly was out."
Dominique Santos witnessed the crash and saw the other biker flee the scene. Now, Ramos' friends are banding together to find the man responsible for the incident.
"My friend would have lost his life if it was maybe an inch to the left more," Duce Alano said.
Anyone with information is urged to call the California Highway Patrol Altadena station at (626) 296-8100.
