1 killed, 4 injured in SoCal doughnut shop crash

LOS ANGELES (KFSN) -- Authorities say one person is dead and four others are injured after an SUV crashed into a doughnut shop in Southern California.

Surveillance video shows the Jeep Liberty plowing through Jolly Donuts in the Canoga Park area of Los Angeles just before 10 p.m. Saturday.

From one angle you can see a man sitting at a table get thrown several feet. He walked away with cuts and bruises, but one victim died at the scene and four others are in serious to critical condition.

Police say the driver was a woman in her 40s. She was taken to a hospital and will be evaluated to see if drugs or alcohol were involved.
