Double shooting investigation in the Tulare County town of Earlimart

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A search is underway in the south valley for the gunman in a shooting that left two people injured.

Tulare County Sheriff's deputies were called to the area of Front Street and Sutter Avenue around 10 p.m. Wednesday. They found a man and a woman with gunshot wounds.

The two victims were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive. Authorities say the suspects got away and they don't have a description at this point. There is no word on what prompted the shooting.
