Madera County most wanted fugitive captured

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- One of Madera County's most wanted fugitives has been booked into jail.

Madera's Special Investigation Unit arrested Billy Childers at a home on Avenue 20 near Road 15 on Friday. He was wanted for a robbery and assault with a firearm.

Authorities also arrested the homeowner, Ricky Seaver, for a probation violation. When detectives found Seaver, they say he was barricaded in the house with a rifle, but he surrendered in just a matter of minutes.
