Madera police arrest 1, seek 1 in attempted vending machine theft

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Madera police say two men tried to pull off a burdensome burglary early Sunday morning.

John Price and a second man are accused of trying to steal a vending machine from the Madera High School North Campus. They set off an alarm and were spotted by an officer.

Investigators say both men ran away, but Price was caught. The 46-year-old was arrested on charges of attempted grand theft, resisting arrest and trespassing.
