Traffic back to normal after police activity on Highway 99 causes standstill

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Traffic is back to normal along Highway 99 after coming to a standstill due to police activity.

It started around 2:30 a.m. on the Olive overpass.

Police aren't saying what caused the delay, but traffic was diverted along the 99 south at McKinley, and northbound along Belmont.

About an hour later, officers were able to get traffic moving again.

No one was hurt.
