I-5 over the Grapevine is back open after mudslide

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Castaic due to a mudslide.

Around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday the California Highway Patrol received reports of mud, rocks and debris on the interstate near Fort Tejon Road. Within an hour, officials closed all northbound lanes as crews worked to clear the road.

The road was reopened early Monday morning.
