African American Historical & Cultural Museum honors local trailblazers

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Several local trailblazers were honored Saturday night in West Central Fresno.

The African American Historical and Cultural Museum of the San Joaquin Valley honored 13 people for their contributions to the community in honor of Black History Month. They will be inducted into the wall of fame at the museum.

The organization also announced plans to build a new museum at the site of the current one. It's expected to be completed in the next few years.
