Former Firebaugh, Reedley College star QB Josh Allen heading to Wyoming

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Former Firebaugh High and Reedley College quarterback Josh Allen is headed to the Mountain West to play football at Wyoming next season. Allen signed his letter of intent Sunday night at his family's restaurant.

Despite not starting until the fifth game of the season, the dual threat racked up more than 2,700 yards of offense and 36 total touchdowns at Reedley this past season.

Wyoming head coach Craig Bohl expects Allen to compete for playing time immediately, saying, "Josh is an extremely talented young man who is just the type of QB that we're looking for."

Allen is the second ever athlete out of Firebaugh High to sign a letter of intent with a division one school.
