Memphis Grizzlies rookie forward Jaren Jackson Jr. has suffered a right quadriceps injury and will be sidelined for the foreseeable future, league sources tell ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The franchise plans to be cautious with a timetable on its young star's return.
Jackson was ruled out of Friday's home game against the LA Clippers after being listed as questionable.
The rookie out of Michigan State was averaging 13.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 1.4 blocks in just over 26 minutes per game.
