Sacramento Kings All-NBA center Domantas Sabonis has agreed to a contract renegotiation and extension for a total of $217 million over five years, his agents, Greg Lawrence and Jason Ranne, told ESPN Saturday night.
Sabonis' 2023-24 season will be renegotiated, and four new seasons will be added onto the deal, which includes $195 million in new money.
A seven-year veteran and three-time All-Star, Sabonis was an All-NBA third-team selection last season after leading the NBA with 12.3 rebounds to go with 19.1 points and 7.3 assists. He shot a career-best 61.5% from the field.
Sabonis, 27, was the 11th overall pick in the 2016 draft.
