World Series Odds: Yankees await winner of Dodgers-Mets

The Los Angeles Dodgers opened the season as favorites to win the World Series and now all they need to do to get to the Fall Classic is to defeat the pluckyNew York Metsone more time. Their first of two chances comes in Game 6 of the NLCS, Sunday night at Dodger Stadium.

If the Mets are able to even the series, a decisive Game 7 will be held on Monday night.

Meanwhile, theNew York Yankeeshave already punched their ticket, winning the ALCS in five games, thanks to a 10-inning win in Game 5 against the Cleveland Guardianson Saturday night.

The World Series will begin on Friday, Oct. 25, at the site of the NL champions. If the series were to go seven games, the final baseball game of the 2024 season would take place on Saturday, Nov. 2.
