Highway 168 closed at the bottom of the four-lane due to rain and snow

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- UPDATE: The highway has since reopened.

The California Highway Patrol has closed State Route 168 at the bottom of the four-lane.

Officers say the highway will be shut down until further notice due to heavy rain and snowfall.

Drivers are asked to find an alternate route and stay clear of the area.
