Kaitlyn Bristowe talks about her relationships on 'The Bachelorette'
Jennifer Matarese interviews "The Bachelorette" Kaitlyn Bristowe.

NEW YORK -- Kaitlyn Bristowe is about halfway through her journey for love on "The Bachelorette". Still, that didn't stop her from going all the way with one of her bachelors. She's been criticized by some, but that doesn't seem to faze her.

"What I really tried to do was be in the moment in each relationship, because I don't think it's fair to the person I'm with to be thinking about somebody else, but I'm also like is it fair to be doing that when I have other relationships."

She says her family is very easy going and open about things, but she did warn them before the episode aired about what happened with Nick Viall. In fact, she joked that she's the talk of her grandfather's "old folk's home"! How the rest of her remaining guys will deal with it when they inevitably find out, we'll have to wait and watch.

She shed some light on Ian ranting about her being "surface level" and she said that she was caught off-guard by his comments. Kaitlyn certainly seemed to make every effort to be sincere. She added that she couldn't believe his comments in the limo as he left, and doubts that it will help him have any shot at all of becoming the next "Bachelor".

"You would think someone who graduated Princeton and is so sure of himself would not say something so ridiculous," Kaitlyn said.

Speaking of ridiculous, let's talk about Joshua's hair! Kaitlyn reiterated that the clippers broke while she was giving him and impromptu haircut. Why he never got it fixed is anyone's guess. She said it wasn't the drama he created or the fact that she might have thought he was lying because actually, she thought he was being truthful. "The relationship with Joshua wasn't progressing and that's why I had to say bye to him and that killed me because I really liked him."

If she does select a lucky bachelor to get engaged to in the end, don't expect to see this "Bachelorette" putting on her dancing shoes just yet. If approached to do "Dancing with the Stars" Kaitlyn said she would actually have to think about it a lot and see where her relationship was at that point. She said taking that amount of time away could be a relationship killer as it seemed to be with her former flame "The Bachelor" Chris Soules.

Does Kaitlyn find love? When would her wedding be if she does? Find out that and so much more in the video above! "The Bachelorette" airs Monday nights on ABC!
