Man dressed as tree arrested for stopping traffic

PORTLAND, ME -- A man in Portland, Maine, thought it would be funny to dress as a tree on Monday, and stop traffic, but police weren't laughing.

He was charged with obstructing traffic.

Police removed the tree outfit and gave it to Public Works.

Station WGME reports the unnamed man was in Cumberland County Jail, as of Monday.
