Strathmore woman killed in rollover crash near Visalia

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Investigators say a woman swerved to avoid something in the road, then rolled the car multiple times.

CHP said the woman was driving west on Highway 198 near Road 156 when the accident happened. They said the woman turned sharply to avoid a large object in the road, veered across all lanes of traffic and into the right shoulder. As a result, the car flipped over several times before coming to rest on its wheels.

The 29-year-old woman died at the scene from her injures.
