FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Three hikers were rescued by helicopters over the weekend inside Yosemite National Park.

A video shows one of those rescues at the 13,000-foot level on Split Mountain on Saturday. A 46-year-old climber who fell about 30 feet suffered an injured hip and arm. He and a friend then found themselves stranded on the mountain. Both men were hoisted to the helicopter, and the injured climber was flown to an awaiting ambulance.

Then on Sunday, crews needed a stretcher to carry a female hiker to safety. She fell about 20 feet while climbing Upper Yosemite Fall and suffered a possible pelvic fracture. The helicopter flew her to Ahwahnee Meadow before she was taken to a hospital.
