Police say the suspect had stolen a truck from the company and Armendariz confronted him.
That's when investigators say Trammell shot and killed him. Two days after the shooting, officers shot Trammel after they say he threatened them.
Trammel was treated and then booked into jail on drug charges while the homicide investigation continued. Police arrested Trammel on murder charges.
