May Day March in Downtown Fresno

Thousands of demonstrators will take to the streets across the country for the annual "May Day" immigration march.In Fresno, a group of volunteers put together signs and gathered American flags Thursday night.

Friday's march downtown will be one of dozens across the country where thousands will rally for immigration reform in America. Volunteers say they're hoping President Obama follows through on his campaign promise of comprehensive immigration reform.

May Day events will begin with a rally at the Eaton Plaza water tower. Demonstrators will then march down Fresno to "P" street, then down Tulare Street to the Fulton Mall and end with another rally at the water tower.
