Club Edge Reopened Saturday Night

Fresno, CA This was the scene inside last night, after a grand opening bash that almost didn't happen.

Last minute issues with city permits and the lack of a liquor license initially delayed the opening, and when it did open to the public, it was with a temporary liquor license.

Owner Kirk Vartanian, said he wanted to reopen as an alcohol free, 18 and up club, just until The Edge gets its ABC license.

Kirk Vartanian, The Edge owner said, "Usually it takes anywhere from 30 days to 90 days. So we'll do everything we can to speed it up."

Vartanian says he plans to open The Edge to the 18 and up crowd Thursday through Saturday nights. He's also planning to open a permanent 18 and up club on the Granite Park grounds soon.
