So many people have been coming here, trading in their gold for cash, that even in these tough times the Fresno Coin Gallery has seen record business. So a week ago, the Fresno Coin Gallery announced it will donate 10-percent of the value it pays for your gold through April 10th to local schools.
The Coin Gallery is guaranteeing a minimum donation of $30,000 dollars, but it could be worth as much as $100,000.
School officials say every dollar helps. The money will go toward funding all the extra programs for kids like arts, drama, music, after school sports that are being cut due to budget problems.
This fundraiser runs another week through April 10th. You can choose one of over 300 schools where your donation will go.
