Investigators say /*Montgomery Borba*/ was under the influence of the drug Ambien when he left his nine-year-old son alone at a fast food restaurant in Turlock Tuesday.
Although he wasn't drunk, police arrested Borba for leaving his son at a Jack in the Box.
Borba says that he isn't a bad father and that he doesn't remember going to the bar. He blames his behavior on an accidental overdose of the sleeping drug Ambien.
Borba's arraignment on child neglect charges is scheduled for January.
