The shooting happened Saturday night around 9 p.m. at Ringo Park. Authorities say when they arrived at the scene, they found a victim with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
Selma police say the victim was in the park with other people but it's not clear who they are. They also say two vehicles were seen leaving the area. One is a 1990's light blue or silver Lincoln Continental. The other is a reddish brown Dodge Caravan.
