The Sikh community presented a check to the Poverello House in Downtown Fresno Saturday. It will pay for all of the breakfasts, lunches, and dinners throughout November. That is an estimated 40,000 meals.
Poverello house provides about 1,200 meals every day plus many other services for the poor, hungry, and homeless. This is the fifth year the Sikh community has made this type of donation.
