The CHP said they got a call about a man walking in road. When they arrived they found the victim laying in the northbound lanes.
The CHP said broken fragments of a headlight were found at the scene. They say the headlight may be from a 2002 Ford pick-up, but the color of the pick-up is not known.
The victim has not been identified.
