'Dogs picked to win WAC

Fresno, CA, USA Not after Fresno State was picked to win the WAC by the conference coaches. Four Bulldogs were also selected to the preseason all-WAC team. Tommy Mendonca was named the preseason player of the year, while Gavin Hedstrom, Danny Muno and Steve Detwiler made also earned recognition.

Late word from the Fresno State athletic department tonight has just 700 tickets remaining for February 20th's season opener at Beiden Field. Remember, fans in attendance will see the unveiling of the College World Series flag, and the "National Champions" sign in center field
