Around 15 people living inside managed to get out of the burning home, including Larry Mejia and his family.
"I just woke up and seen all kinds of fire, like by the door, so I woke everybody up and told them jump out the window," said Mejia, "I jumped down first, then the kids were throwing me the kids, so I got the kids and we got out through the back."
Six people were hurt, some while jumping and others were burned. But firefighters say all the injuries appear to be minor.
Residents said they had no time to grab any of their belongings. The Red Cross was on scene to help the families find temporary food and housing.
Fire investigators are now trying to find out what caused the fire.
